Summer Programs begin July 11 at 10am

Join us on Wednesdays, beginning July 11 for our summer reading program.   Immediately following our Wednesday morning programming children will be offered a free lunch provided by CAPC.   Here's what's on tap this summer at the library.  All children ages 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

For younger children

Each week Mrs. Parker will present stories, crafts, science projects, and more based on the themes listed below.   Children will also receive a take home gift each week.

July 11 - Instruments 

July 18 - Sounds of Nature

July 25 - Styles and Stars

August 1 - Rock Around the World

For Older Children

Each week a second program session will run concurrently with our Younger Children session.  Generally, children who participate in this session should be able to follow directions and work independently.   Parents and caregivers are welcome to assist their children. 

July 11 - String Art Project, July 18 - Rock Painting 101, July 25 - Crochet CD art, August 1 -Leather Bracelets

For Teens

We will be hosting 2 Teen Nights this summer on July 27th and August 10th from 7pm to 9pm.   Participants will focus on string art projects on July 27th and on August 10th be instructed in an art project exploring "Art, Arp, and Intuition".

For Adults

Join us Thursday mornings starting at 10am for Community, Coffee & Conversation!   Coffee and light snacks provided.

For All Ages

Open Mic Unplugged July 13th at 7pm
